Since ancient times Korean has regarded tigers as holly animals that represent the mountain gods. They honored the powerful cats for their beauty, strength and power. Tiger also symbolize good luck. This cat is so important for Korean that when South Korea hosted the 1988 Olympic Games, tiger was chose as the game mascot.
